Poipu Kai Resort

Anyone have information on Poipu Kai Resorts, Bamboo Jungle, or Kauai Cove condos? We're thinking of using them for a few nights to explore the Poipu area.

Do your homework before deciding on a location in Poipu Kai. It's a sprawling property, it encompasses about 7 different condo developments. Some of them are not close to the beach.

Kauai Cove is in a very peaceful, upscale residential neighborhood a bit removed from the main part of Poipu.

Bamboo Jungle is in the Kalaheo/Lawai area I think. Nice spot but not within walking distance of the ocean.

Thank you for the information. I'm somewhat weary of staying at someone's rental condo since I'll only be there 2-3 nights and would prefer to stay at a B&B/inn type place where the owners are around.

We stayed at Poipu Kai for a week last year and liked it a lot (we were in the Sands section with a nice ocean view). We rented our condo for a week through www.vrbo.com and were happy with it. You can get a unit there through Suite Paradise which is an onsite rental/management agency (search for them on the web). If I was going for less than a week that's probably what I would do.

Thanks for the info. I understand that these are individual units that Suite Paradise is helping to rent out for their owners. Are they pretty helpful if something needs to be addressed?

Yes, you are right, the units are individually owned. Suite Paradise manages and rents them out. I have not used Suite Paradise myself but from I heard and read they are responsive. I have never seen any complaints.
Search this board, there were postings about them.
