Poconos, help me with recommendations

I'm going to be in the Poconos for 7 days. Looking for short hikes, like 3 miles or less, that end up with awesome views. I have a few things listed but all the info is so overwhelming. Also what else is good there? We are not going to the water park, we are trying to save money. We like tours, gardens, houses, animals, museums cheap food. Going in mid april.

Given your list of likes, are you sure the Poconos is a wise choice?

Why wouldn't it be a good choice? The poconos has hiking, nature, small museums, historic houses. Are those things not in the Poconos? I just don't want to go on 5-10 mile hikes. Is that my only choice there?

The National Historic Site, Grey Towers, in Milford, PA is a beautiful spot. The house is not open for tours until May but you can explore the grounds. You could combine a visit there with a drive along the Delaware Water Gap recreation area.
