Try Isaac's on the Waterfront in Plymouth Harbor....it's excellent...Slow service at times BUT fantastic food and huge portions...We went there for our twin's christening..

for a contrary opinion, I fear I think Isaac's is absolutely wretched food-wise, with a decor to match. Nice view of the harbor though.

I think Plymouth, or Brockton by the sea as it is none to affectionately nicknamed by locals, is also pretty wretched I'm afraid. There are a lot of nice places within easing driving distance.

We had a wonderful dinner at the HEARTH AND KETTLE-JOHN CARVER INN 25 SUMMER STREET.For a quick seafood bite the Lobster Hut on the towns wharf is ok. Paul

Isaacs is horrible. Neither the menu nor the decor have been updated since 1985. Service was horrible. Ate there in June. The only thing it has to offer is a view and after dark who cares. The Lobster Hut and the little shack across the parking lot from it are better bets for good food. Don't eat at the Weathervane either.

We just got back from Plymouth last week. I agree with the others about Isaac's. The view is great, but the decor is awful (I think bennnie is right - it hasn't been updated since 1985).

I liked East Bay Grille. It has a nice atmosphere and on the water. I had scrod. For more casual, I liked Cabbyshacks (we had lobster here and at Isaac's and Cabbyshacks was better). Our lobsters were good and it was a fun place. We sat on the upper level outside. For even more casual, we ate at Wood's. My lobster roll was fine.

I second East Bay Grille!! Went there a couple of times this summer and enjoyed our meals. I have friends who went to Issac's over the summer and they really enjoyed the food. Another place I think is beautiful and the food is great is the Crane Brook Tea Room in Carver. If you have a car it would only take about 20 minutes to get to on Federal Furnace Rd. but it will be pricey. Maybe lunch instead? Have a great time!
