Thanks, bbqboy. This will keep us reading for a while and maybe we can incorporate some additional areas.

Cheers!

Hey, sorry for the late reply, magicone, but I spent most of the weekend at the coast getting wet! ;-)

Wineries.... In no particular order, these are some of my favorites with regular tasting hours: Bergstrom, Adelsheim (including Shea, which makes their wine there), Penner Ash, Willakenzie, Carton Winemakers Studio (look particularly for Andrew Rich wines), DePonte, Chehalem, Domaine Drouhin, Eyrie...

Favorite taste by appointment places would include Brick House, Beaux Freres, Patricia Green, Westrey, Cameron, Stoller, and maybe Belle Pente.

Most of these places are lesser known small producers, not trying to ride the coat-tails of Sideways. ;-) All are located roughly in a triangle area with Newberg, Carlton, and McMinnville as its points. Most have their own websites.

Thanks, beachbum. No apologies necessary...beach time is sacred.

Really appreciate your list and was glad to find some of the wineries that we're already interested in were on it. Can't wait to start tasting.

Thanks again.
