Please Recommend B&B on Maine Mid-Coast for couple with infant

Hello,

I am trying to find the right place to stay on the Maine mid-coast this August. There are lots of lovely, romantic B&B's that won't accept us with our 9-month old son (and I completely understand that!).

We are looking for a place on the ocean, nice grounds, close to a cute town, for under $250/night. A big plus would be a little sitting room where we could hang out after the baby goes to the sleep.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Jim

I prefer the Welch House, but it is not right on the water.

Near Camden instead of Boothbay, you might take a look at Beloins.com, more "rustic" than romantic, but a private little cottage on the oceanfront is romantic no matter what the furnishings i.m.o.

they do allow dogs in case allergies are a problem for the baby

Just wanted to top this post to see if there was any new feedback. JimC did you find a place?
Anyone else?
We are planning this same trip for this summer.

Many if not most B&Bs do no allow children so I would ask first if children are allowed.
