Please put the location in the title of the posting!

I can't tell you how many vague-sounding posts I have clicked on today that have no location in the title, only to find out the question is about some place I've never been before and can't help with.

I know all you regulars know this, so posting this is probably a waste of time, but if I can 'enlighten' just one person, I will feel better.

so stop clicking on weird threads and go back to discussing really important travel issues like emigration to california or massage therapy

Sorry Faina. My curiosity always gets the best of me. I can't help myself.

I am always so tempted to reply to the topic only! Especially if it's something like "help with my honeymoon" - why not to advise marriage counselling?

Faina,

I have the exact same inclination sometimes!

Of course, then I remember that maybe one day I'll have a vague heading too....

Oh, and Faina, I hear ya on posting a reply based on the title only. My favorite is "I need help!" I can think of so many ways to answer that one without reading the rest of the post...

I've been on and off of this forum for at least 7 years, and this has been a consistent problem. There will always be new people coming to this forum who won't "get it". The posting issues will always be there. My curiosity tends to get the best of me, and I will click on posts like "need hotel help soon" just for the heck of it anyway as will many others.

Get over it, and find something else to worry about it. You will not fix it permanently. People will come and go from this forum, as will you probably.
