Please help with one night accommodation recommendations for this Friday night in the villages within 10 or 15 minutes of the Bourne Bridge in Cape Cod

I am contemplating staying at the Atlantic Motel this Friday night so that we can cross the bridge early Saturday morning before the traffic gets heavy. Has anyone stayed at this motel? If you have, please share your opinion. I would also love other accommodation recommendations for the villages surrounding the bridge. I am having a difficult time finding accommodations for 3 reasons: 1) they are completely booked 2)they won't book just 1 night on a Friday 3) they are too expensive considering we are only going to be spending 8 hours there to sleep. We just need clean basic accommodations. Thanks.

there is a better hotel just over the bridge, I think it is the Best Western. I live near the atlantic motel and could not give it the okay. I know there is alot of crime there I hope this helps...

I assume you are talking about one of the next couple weekends (i.e., before Labor Day). If so, I'd be leery of any hotel/motel in that area that would take a reservation for a Friday night only!

cpcdgirl, thanks so much for your warning about the Atlantic Motel. I tried the Best Western in Bourne, but there least expensive room is $149. That is a bit much to spend just to sleep.

I'm going to keep trying though.

I posted this earlier...Days Inn in New Bedford shows one night availability for 8/22 at a rate of $80.10 It's half an hour from the Bourne Bridge. (I've never stayed there myself...)
