Please Help With Corporate Dinner by Disneyworld

My husband is in charge of a corporate dinner next week. There will be approx. 40 guests and we will be staying on Disney property. The dinner does not have to be on property and usually for these dinners, money is not a factor. Could someone please recommend a nice place for this dinner?
Thanks so much.

The first place that popped into my mind was Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge within the property. It has a nice lodge ambience, is not too formal, and would give everyone a chance to see an area of the property they don't normally get to. Here is a link to a sample menu:

If you want a more "lively" meeting place, pick one of the many restaurants over in the area around the Boardwalk (also near the Beach and Yacht Club, Dolphin and Swan).

If I were arranging a corporate dinner, I would definitely stay on property. The only other choice I could see would be to go to the City Walk area of Universal Studios. I don't think just "going off property" would be more desirable or exciting.

Good luck!

I would recommend that he start dialing first thing Monday. That is not much time to find a place that is ready to seat 40!

That said, if anyone could do it Disney probably could. However, I would think that your choices are going to be more limited as to what is available at this late notice.

Last year we hosted several corporate dinners at Disneyworld and the best one was in the restaurant on top of the Contemporary Hotel. They have a very nice private room and you could watch the fireworks from there. The food and service were excellent.

Several years ago we attended a business dinner in a restaurant at Church Street Station, in downtown Orlando. I'm sorry--I can't remember the name but you could call Church Street if you're interested. I'm sure CS has a website also. It was on the second floor of a New Orleans style building. The food and service were excellent-white glove-and the private room opened onto a large balcony where you could overlook the activities on Church St.

I would suggest in this order:
California Grill (on top of Contemporary)
Artist Point(in Wilderness Lodge)
Giko (at AK Lodge)
Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club)
or any of the nicer restaurants in Epcot.

Tell your husband to call 407-WDW-Dine to talk to their reservation center for help.

Depending on budget, I attended a private dinner party for 40 people inside the Haunted Mansion inside the park after the park had closed.

That certainly had a lot of WOW factor.

If you want something a little less Disney you may want to consider the Hyatt Grand Cyprus resort - they have several good restaurants - without the kids atmosphere.

A heartfelt thanks to all of you. This gives my husband great places to choose from. He was excited to see all the responses. Thanks again for your help and kindness.
