frequenttraveler -Thank you for the helpful tip! I have a great agent who is usually helpful, but rarely gives a discount and never gets me an upgrade. I take two nice trips a year, and then 1-2 shorter trips, so I spend a decent amount of money on travel. My only concern about using the company that you mentioned is that I live on the East coast. Might that be a problem?

I think you answered your own question Lois. The expensive rooms are available because most people DON'T book them! The "presidential" suites costing $ 1000's of dollars are almost always empty. Most wealthy people don't stay in them - that's why they are wealthy. Only your occasional nouveau riche, Rap Star, Professional Athlete or Beverly Hillbilly will pay those prices.

Silly -the ocean view prime room is $650/night, only $85 less per night than the club room, if I remember correctly from research I have done in the past. They were all booked. Many people on this forum thought that that price tag was way too high. But, THEY ARE ALL BOOKED!

Anne, no I don't think that matters, they have clients all over the world and I too live out of state. I don't like to give out personal info over the net but I can tell you that a very good agent there has the same name as yours =) and has successfully given me upgrades my last 2 hawaii stays. This travel agency provides classic custom vacations hawaii with tons of $$ in revenue and I think that's the major reason we've done so well thus far. Best of luck!

This whole thread has just reaffirmed to me what a great choice I made in bucking the trend here in California to go to hawaii and choosing Jamaica for my special vacation last year instead!! Great to be a free thinker and pay 5400 a week for 2 with first class air for a 5 star all inclusive resort with an ocean view jacuzzi suite. Impecable food, room, service and beach and all the watersports and drinks included. I did GREAT!! Thanks for reminding me that it is great to be a free thinker and do the research. I LOVE nice things and don't mind paying for them but 750 a night is robbery IMO and the sad thing is their are fools out there willing to pay that.

You know Monique....you sounded reasonable until you had to add the "fools" slam. People can also be free thinkers and spend where they want and personally, I wouldn't go to an all inclusive if you paid me. I'm sure you got a great flavor of Jamaica from the inside of your compound.

Oh, so now it's Jamaica, Monique? And just WHY do you think it's so CHEAP to go to that HORRIBLE place? Because of all the poverty, crime, aggressive vendors and filth, that's why!! I'd rather spend $1,000 a night at the FS Maui than $25 a night at the Ritz in Montego Bay!!!!

Yikes, the Fleet Enema Twin Pack is used for relief of occasional constipation or bowel cleansing before rectal activity.

Save money with the convenient twin-pack!
