Please help - suggestions for first time trip to New Orleans
We'll be taking a first time trip to NO during the last week in February, We're in our early sixties, and wife's walking ability is somewhat limited. We'll be staying at the Harrah's Hotel. Any suggested attractions, tours, restaurants, and music venues (classic rock preferred) would be greatly appreciated. :)

I'm in process of writing a trip report about trip we just returned from, just click on my name. To sum, tho', our favorite highlights were cooking class with Chef Frank Brigsten through the New Orleans Cooking Experience (different from the N.O. School of Cooking), and jazz at Snug Harbor, Irvin Mayfield Lounge at Royal Sonesta Hotel, and Preservation Hall. Sorry, we didn't do any classic rock while in NOLA. Oh, and loved our dinner at Bayona, and lunch at Morning Call in City Park.

Have the chargrilled oysters at Drago's in the Hilton--it's right across the street from Harrah's!
