Please help me plan the trip
 

I plan to spend about four to six weeks travel in USA,please give me some sugesstion about transpotation,lodge,travel agent,travel attraction etc....thanks.

Thank for Polly's suggestion.My startpoint is in Atlanta,and the end point is in Sanfrancisco.I want to see the most classic place,culture,nature scene of the United State.My buget is about $60 perday.Have you any good idea for my trip. I wish you can reply to me. Thanks.

Many of the most beautiful places in this country are in national parks. Some of the best are along the route you will be following. I would suggest Bryce Canyon in Utah, Grand Canyon in Arizona, and Yosemite in California. To see these you would either need a car, which is expensive unless you are sharing with other people, or possibly a bus tour. If you have a car you could camp, although you would need reservations for camping well in advance for the national parks if you will be there in summer. Otherwise, it should not be a problem. Near Grand Canyon are Navajo and Hopi Indian villages which would be interesting. Have a wonderful visit!

You must go to New Orleans. If are thinking about it,

lived there for 3 years and know how to get out of
the tourist areas and the high prices that go along
with them.

Of course, the high point on your trip will be in California. San Francisco is a wonderful place for sightseeing, cultural events, and just hanging out. Try the De Young museum in Golden Gate Park or the Museum of Modern Art near the Moscone Center at 3rd and Howard. Fort Point is a great place for views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Crissy Field, the Marina District and the Presidio old Army base are within walking distance. Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and the Cannery are all close by, east by a couple of miles from Fort Point.

Elsewhere in California, Yosemite is spectacular, as are Sequoia and King's Canyon Nat'l parks. LA of course is LA. Too much to list.

The time of year you come makes a big difference. November until March is the rainy season. In general, the farther south in California you are, the less rain you receive, but because of El Nino, it might be a bad winter to come.
