Please help identify location in Southern California

Hi,
I need urgent help identifying the location in the picture below. It is most likely somewhere in Southern California:

Thanks in advance

Sorry -- but you just registered to post that link - No telling what it is a link to. I ain't going to click it.

Perhaps if you posted the full link . . . but its still doubtful.

It's a picture of a guy standing next to a wooden cabin. If you don't trust that link try this one:

What makes you think it is in Southern California?
I do believe that the building is actually an outhouse on Forest Service land. I think the trees in the background are Lodgepole Pine which makes me think of Oregon.

I think it's a picture of you about to have an interview with human resources unaware that you are going to be fired. The rocks in the foundation of the building make me think it might have been taken in Kansas.

A new poster as of December 2014 and this is your first post? I don't plan to click on that link as I am skeptical.

Okay thank you for the one serious reply 'tomfuller'.
1st reply because I don't need this forum for anything else. Reason why I think Southern California is because I've already checked a tree-forum and the guy is wearing a UCLA shirt.

>>and the guy is wearing a UCLA shirt.<<

Oh, yes, that's proof (?). Do you have any idea how huge/old UCLA is??? There are UCLA shirts in every state of the union and likely every country in the World - maybe not North Korea but possibly even there.

That is like saying a Yankee cap means one is in the Bronx or a ManU strip means one lives in Manchester England . . . .

I am certain this photo was taken at the Sunny Side Up men's nudist camp near Cucamonga.
This gentleman is about to shed that UCLA tee shirt and join the other fellows down at the volleyball court.

Is this guy a troll? So strange to have a very first post in a travel forum about types of trees and tree locations. Maybe a google search came up with a good tree identifcation site being Fodor's! Hahahaha!!!

TreeQuestion Dec 28th, 2014 12:09 PM

Yes apparently I did choose the wrong forum to ask a question like this. The level of intelligence here goes quite beyond me. I thought perhaps travel experience might lead to someone recognizing this exact location.

You made your way into our hearts when you said "I don't need this forum for anything else."

sassy27 Dec 28th, 2014 02:17 PM

Short answer is they don't know. The forums can be a helpful, wonderful place sometimes like the guy who posted a picture of his girlfriend's deceased brother. They wanted to know the location so she could visit but only had the picture and country to go on. It was the person's only post. A poster immediately recognized it and gave specific directions to the spot. Unfortunately, it seems you won't have the same luck. I can't help you either but maybe someone else can.

Go ahead, chew us up and spit us out.

The reason I think Southern California is because I've already checked a tree-forum and the guy is wearing a UCLA shirt.

I'm wearing clothes from China, but I live in Seattle.

I'm guessing a Russian River resort ;)

Tree Question.
Urgent.
Why?

starrs Dec 28th, 2014 07:36 PM

And where's the tree we're questioning?
