Plea from a NY'er

All those revelers who come to Manhattan from other places to celebrate St. Pat's please try to respect the residents by using indoor bathroom facilities.

Thank you.

OK, but where the heck are they?

It would also be appreciated if those who drink so much they find it necessary to represent their food do it in appropriate receptacles.

(I have a friend who used to live on east 86th St (the end point of the parade) and she wouldn't leave her apartment after noon on St Patrick's Day.)

And some of the revelers don't come to Manhattan. they are already there! Maybe they can try to behave too?

I am sure there are Manhattan residents but The Port Authority, Penn Station, and Grand Central station are so notorious on St. Pat's that the police started confiscating liquor there a number of years ago.

I live in the East Village where the weekend starts on Thursday night and ends Sunday morning and you just get a sense of those who lives in Manahttan and those who do not. Maybe it is questions like, "Which way is Avenue A?"

To be perfectfully grahic, so many people blew their cookies on the street last year, it was hard to naviagate the sidewalk.
