plans-20 yr anniversary night on maui?
 

We will be on maui and would like diner and other suggestions for our celebration!

Hi Sally, <BR> <BR>We too are planning to spend our 20th anniversary in Maui/Kauai. I have posted this question, and the response I got was the Plantation House Restaurant, make reservations in advance and request a table with a view. <BR>The food and views are suppose to be spectacular. <BR>Have a great anniversary and a trip to remember.

Definetly Mama's beach house by the airport. We've been to Maui, Kauai, Ohau, and Big Island. Mama's DEFINETLY has the best/ most fresh food!!!! They have their own fishing boat so the catch is fresh. Also atmosphere is romantic. After dinner you can 'hang' out at their own private beach:-)

I would agree wholeheartedly with the Plantation House. My husband and I went there on our first trip to Hawaii in Sept. 1998 (we are hooked and have been back twice already!) and it is one of our favorite places. The view is truly spectacular, the ambience wonderful, the food fantastic and the service tremendous. All in all, I don't think it could be improved upon! I am looking forward to going there again on our next trip in November. <BR> <BR>And congratulations on your anniversary!

Mama's is VERY popular, and it's true, they don't serve fish if it's over 12 hours old, but if you go there, plan on spending a bunch, and I mean a WHOLE BUNCH of $$$$$$$! (It cost us over $100 for lunch!) <BR>We personally like 'The Waterfront'. Great food, ambience and not nearly as expensive!
