Planning ahead for "girls weekend"

Some girls...we're both in our early fifties. We live 3000 miles apart and meet once a year to catch up and veg out. We like warm weather and nice resorts. Our trips take place in June. Any suggestions?

Some obvious choices that come to mind include Hawaii, Las Vegas (though it might be kinda warm already), Palm Springs (also hot already by June).

Bermuda!
Or southern coastal Maine.
Or Newport, RI.
Hyatt Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico
(I went there myself in June - the rates
are lower than winter, it's not too hot,
they have a great pool and also
a regular beach - perfect for just
hanging out)

Correction to previous message:
it's the Hyatt Cerromar Beach in
Puerto Rico. Dorado Beach is right
next to it though.

Well, we had our "annual get together" in Tucson and Scottsdale....and had a great time. Now we are looking ahead to June 2003. Any more suggestions?

Not a resort town, but New Orleans is warm (but not hot) in June and has lots of resort-type (spa) hotels. Just an option.

Santa Fe, NM

A bunch of girlfriends and I are headed to Red Mountain Spa in a week for a nice getaway. It is in Utah, only 2 hours by car from Las Vegas. Its an adventure spa...so lots of activities as well as the pampering. You can see it at www.redmountainspa.com, or find something similar at www.spafinder.com.

The most magnificent hotel and spa. Great restaurants, shopping. Very serene. Stunning scenery. Fly to Calgary and a van can get you to Banff in about n hour.
Truly a wonderful weekend. If that is too cool weather-wise for you, how about the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas? A cruise? Key West?

A friend just returned from Havanna. (Yes, in Cuba) Had a wobderful time.

What about a cruise?
