also I don't think couples getting married on "their spot" earlier is the issue, the issue is that they may be sharing a beach with another ceremony.

I just took a poll of the 12 people in my office and not one has seen a beach wedding in months, including our agent who surfs every night on Kauai, and my husband who surfs all over Oahu.
Hilton Hawaiian Village has a rather public set up for their weddings, but other than that, hotels do not schedule more than one wedding in sight of another.
and Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Moana I remember being at the Royal Hawaiian a wedding near the restaurant, then on the beach another, then walking into and out of the Moana two more sets of brides either left to make other destinations around the island or stopped for photo shoots. I have never stayed in Waikiki without seeing at least 4 different brides if not more counting in other areas of the islands.
Just want to give Kathryn a picture of what it could look like. Glad to hear this may have changed though lucy.

They've got the process down pretty well these days. The bride and groom take a number, wait until the service for the next couple is over, then step up to the plate. You can be in and out in about 30 minutes.
