places to stay

we are planning 7 days at Maui and 7 days at Kauai. Has anyone stayed at any of the 2 or 3 bedroom condominiums? Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you're considering the Wailea area then Grand Champions Villas is definitely worth looking into. They're reasonably priced and quite nice. If you call the management office at 808- 874-3700 they can give you names of owners who rent directly.

On Kauai's south shore there is Kiahuna Plantation. Quite nice.

We got both of our condos (Maui and Kauai) on ebay for a very good price. They were both upscale RCI Gold Crown properties.

Sue, which Maui condo did you get on E-Bay and what was the price?

Sue May 11th, 2002 08:06 AM

Ken,<BR>In Maui we stayed in a 1 bedroom at Kahana Falls in Lahaina for $375 for the week and in Kauai we stayed at Kauai Coast (part of the Shell Vacation Club) in Kapaa, also a 1 bedroom for $350 for a week. Both of these show descriptions etc. on rci.com (both are Gold Crown). We traveled in October when people were not yet eager to fly yet so we were able to get excellent prices for gorgeous properties. Sue

We are leaving in the morning for Kauai. After moving around the island for several years we have settled on the N. shore. We stay at Hanalei Colony Resort on the road past Hanelei. It is near Tunnels and Ke'e beaches and Lumahi gardens. They have all the extras along with the peace and quite we so desire. No phones and no T.V's. Enjoy your trip!
