places to dine in Washington DC

My wife and I will be driving from Williamsburg to Pennsylvania and would like a short two or two and a half hour stop for dinner in DC. Any suggestions?

City Lights of China in Dupont Circle. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to.

It depends on what you are looking for. For me I would eat at Sequoia Restaurant on the Potomic. Good food, better views.

DuPont Circle would be very fun (and funky), but I would recommend a few different restaurants -- La Tiramisu, great Italian, Pesce or Johnny Half Shell, great seafood, Gabriel (not much on atmoshphere but nice tapas), La Tomate, also nice Italian, Raku, pan asian fusion, to name a few

Depends what type of food/atmosphere you are looking for -- a few more details?
