If you get back on I-84 from I-91 north of Hartford, you save $1.10 each way in tolls on the Mass Pike, and it's a little faster. You could just stay on I-84 all the way.
rkkwan: Don't you have to go from I-84 to I-691 to I-91?
An excellent place for lunch or dinner is Block 5 Bar and Bistro in Worcester, easy off Exit 13 of I-290 and back on at Exit 14. They have a website.

I'd recommend I-84 all the way, too. If there's any traffic around Hartford, that's challenging enough! Sometimes it's tough to follow those route signs, the highways seem more like a speedway, and those Connecticut drivers!
