Hmmm...my DD doesn't have to work this weekend (which NEVER happens) and we haven't been back to Pittsburgh since she graduated from Pitt a couple years ago.

Is Oakland going to be jam-packed for the Taste of Oakland? Where would you recommend we park if we go? What's the weather forecast for Saturday?

Thanks for the heads-up on this. It's a bit crazy to consider as we live 4 hours away, but still...

Weather is forecast to be all blue skies and sunshine Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
Sorry I cannot make any PARKING recommendations for OAKLAND!
I have learned to only go there by public transit.
As you know, crazy place to try to park.

If you have the time and want to explore these and even other areas (not the Monroeville one)
you might like to park at one of the lots at SouthSideWorks, and hop on the big red bus!

All day ticket gets you to any of 21 stops, including the ones near Point
State Park and Oakland's events.
