Pink jeep tours/Sedona?
Which tours are best on the pink jeep tours.11 people going of various ages. Also, good restaurants? Any help would be appreciated.
|
In the hot weather, it's advisable to take the one in the late afternoon. It can get very, very hot on a mid-day tour. Watching the sun going down over the red rocks is a beautiful sight.
We are going in March,2001. Any special tour of the pink jeep tours that anyone has been on?
|
We enjoy Oaxaca Mexican Restuarant located at 321 N Hwy 89A ("main" street in Sedona.

Why are you at the Alaska site asking questions about Sedona, AZ??????????
|
This is the United States site. There is no Alaska site. San is asking about Arizona, admitted to the union in 1912.
Thanks Al for standing up for me! I wouldn`t post on an Alsaka site.I went to the Alaska site and saw things other than Alaska there. Why is Julie so irrate? I thought this site was to help people not attack them. Thanks again Al!!

You're welcome. Maybe Julie just needed a good weekend. Or forgot to take her medicine. I dunno. Let's all be a little sweeter.
|
Sorry, you thought I was irate. Thought it would help you to get more info if you were posted in the U.S. forum, & topic: Arizona. Check it out. Your msg. is message # 1 at the Forum U.S., topic Alaska. Your msg. is #52 in the U.S. forum. Your msg will probably get more attention in the U.S. forum, topic Arizona.

We took the Broken Arrow tour through Pink Jeep Tours last September. Our tour left at 9 am so it wasn't too hot but if anyone in your group has any type of back problems (even slight), I wouldn't take this particular tour. My husband (who is in his late 20's and is in decent shape) claims that his back still hurts from the trip but he's glad that he did it. Our driver (Brian) was excellent and very personable.

Were we to take another tour, we'd probably try their Mogollon Rim tour around sunset. The views from that one I've heard are outstanding.

There are plenty of good restaurants in Sedona. One evening we stopped in at the Javelina Cantina at Hillside and really enjoyed the food there. My mother-in-law and I split a chimichanga. Normally, chimis tend to be very greasy but this was light and very enjoyable. The portions were quite large.

You are still on the Alaska section of the U.S. site.
