Pink Jeep Tour
I'm going to Sedona in early April and wanted to take a Pink Jeep Tour. I was thinking about the Broken Arrow, but heard that it's a little rough. I'll be taking my 4-year old twins with me and one of them is prone to motion sickness. Would I be better off taking the Scenic Rim or Canyon West (Sunset) tours instead?

Maybe Pink Jeep does the same thing as A Day in the West. (Several businesses offer Jeep tours.) I told them I have a bad back and did not want to be jerked around a lot. They said they try to group people to reflect that and recommended a particular (relatively calm) tour and told us to tell the driver of our concern as some people WANT to be tossed about. As it happened, my spouse and I were the only ones on the tour and it was great. Yes, it was bouncy at times (you ARE off road) but the driver didn't exaggerate that. The back seating area is the worst. I sat next to the driver. It was early May.
Incidentally, The Black Cow downtown has the best ice cream in town. Also of interest to children is the Snoopy-shaped rock visible from downtown (he's lying on his back) and the McDonald's in western Sedona, the only one in the world with teal arches.

CHT,
I took the Pink Jeep tour when ever I visit Sedona. The ride is a liitle bumpy but not dangerous. The guides are great and if you tell them you have small children they will be very careful. The tour was great!!!When you reach the top of the Rim the site is awesome....bring your camera !!!

Just did a Red Rock Jeep Tour of Soldier's Pass in Sedona and my 10 and 12 year old consider it the highlight of our WEEK!! Even if bumpy, it's SLOW so my daughter who has SERIOUS motion sickness issues had NO trouble. The guide was fantastic - even wore a gun and holster which thrilled the kids. The back seat is the bumpiest.

Just wanted to thank everyone for your responses. We just got back from AZ today. We ended up taking the Broken Arrow Tour. My twins loved it! They were encourging our guide to go faster. My daughters wanted to go on another tour the next day. We'll be going back to Sedona in another 2 years and will definitely be taking another Jeep Tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Sedona.
