Pink Jeep Broken Arrow Tour-Best Time?
 

Staying in Sedona for 2 days, May 31-June 1. Would like to book the Pink Jeep Broken Arrow Tour. Can anyone advise what is the best time to go? Early am or late afternoon? Is 10am too late? Also interested in the biplane tour. Anyone tried it? Your advise is appreciated !!

I was there last year in that time frame but didn't have a choice when to take a Pink Jeep tour. I had to go at 1pm. I thought this would be the hottest part of the day but was told that late afternoon was hotter. If I had a choice, I would have picked morning. As we were getting back to Phoenix, much hotter weather had started (over 100 deg at 9PM). Heat bothers me so I would prefer the coolest part of the day. Don't forget a hat and water. Although we were offered water after a brief hike I think we had to drink a lot more water daily than we typically do.

If you are a photographer, early morning or late afternoon would be better for the light on the rocks. Avoid middle of the day. Book ahead of time to be sure to get the time you want. You will love it!
