Pick a City---Name the Best Restaurant

I'm always curious to know the best restaurants in cities around the country... Where's the best eats in your city or favorite vacation spot?... I'm already licking my chops... Thanks!!!

Houston (so far) - Truluck's
for steak and stone crab

Vietnamese - Ba Tho on Bellaire and Cali Sandwiches downtown

Mexican - Las Alamedas on Katy Freeway
Hands down!!

Italian - I am still on the hunt! I like Tony Mandola's.

I have not been all that impressed with the Pappa's chains so far...

New York - for a special occasion = Babbo, hands down. For a meal only a true carnivore can love = Peter Luger's. For "classic New York dining" = Gotham Bar & Grill. For an everyday neighborhood place with my family = Gennaro's.

And, sorry, I just can't agree about Sassafraz in Toronto. Maybe Scaramouche.
