Photo and video shops, bad luck...
 

Hi, I just found out that B+H and Adorama will be closed almost during our entire stay, -we arrive coming Sunday-, and I had a serious visit to one of the shops in mind...

I would really appreciate if anyone could give me a similar shop/address or two which doesn't close because of this religious jewish holiday?

The only places I have purchased camera equipment over the past 30 years are B & H and Adorama. Willoughby's should be open but I have been there in years.

J & R will be open. I worked near them for decades and they usually have snotty kids who know the latest models and little about photography. Also inquire about their return policy, since you live in another country.

I did very well at J&R. If you know more or less what you want you can usually get it at a great price.
