Phoenix Weather in Three Weeks
I'm going to be in Phoenix at the Biltmore in three weeks and wondered what the normal weather is for early November. Will it be warm enough during the day for shorts? Should I pack summer clothes and colors or more fall/winter things?
Thank you |
I've been there in Nov. (as well as Dec., Jan, and Feb.) It will be warm and nice in early Nov., up to the mid-70s during the day Yes, you can wear shorts in the day but take a light jacket or sweatshirt for evening, and some jeans, as it dips down to mid-40s at night then.

Addendum: When it is mid-70s during the day in Phoenix, it feels warmer to me than when it is mid-70s where I live on the east coast. The sun is strong and direct and the air is dry in Phoenix, even in winter.

Yes, tourists do wear shorts, even in the winter, but locals, for the most part, are out of shorts about Nov. 1st...Capris, denims are perfect day and night, though it is cool at night, especially if you plan to eat at the many restaurants with patios. My husband is still wearing his shorts daily, and has since about the first of March, but in couple of weeks he will switch to Levis or khakis for golf and daily wear. We have the house wide open day and night and have not used the refrigeration for more than two weeks.

i went one year wearing shorts every day. If the weather is nice, there will be people wearing them where appropriate. This morning was the first morning that it seemed at all cool - high 50's

Just keep a watch on the weather closer to your trip. Even usually predictable Phoenix can vary from year to year.
