Phoenix Steakhouse
Going to Phoenix for my birthday in July and want to know what steakhouse has the best food and ambiance?
I would recommend Pinnacle Peak Patio in north Scottsdale. Rustic, cowboy atmosphere
Last time I was at PPP (admittedly, it's been awhile), it was great!
Love Durant's in downtown Phoenix!
So old school..been there forever.food is excellent but can be pricey! www.durantsaz.com |
The best steak house in Phoenix hands down is Donnovan's Steaks and Chops located on Camelback Rd. near the Biltmore Mall. I've eaten there many times, their steaks are all USDA prime; rare is served rare, medium is served medium every time. My fav is the Porterhouse, my wife's is the Filet. The ambiance is to die for, beautiful artwork, very quiet, not noisy, attentive staff. Oh, by the way their seafood tower is to die for! Donnovan's is voted and rated #1 in the state of Arizona year after year. Enjoy!!!

I agree with parker731; I have tried most and there are many nice steak houses in Scottsdale and Phoenix; however Donnovans Steaks and Chops is number one by far, great ambiance, service and the best steaks I have ever had, absolutely perfect! The lamb chops are fantastic also. Check out this link, Donovans voted number one by AZCentral.

Pinnacle peak patio is really more of a tourists spot-If you want a nice steakhouse with an upscale atmosphere than go with drinkwaters, donovans, mastros or Flemings. Of course Ruths Chris, Capitol Grille and, Mortons are always great but are chains.
You MUST try Donovan's Restaurant - there is no other by comparison. Best steak you'll ever have! It's a culinary experience you won't want to miss out on while visiting the Phoenix/Scottsdale area!
Only ONE steak house in my book worth it's weight in gold - you must go to Donovan's Steakhouse for one of the finest dining experiences in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. You won't be disappointed - I guarantee!
