Phoenix/Scotts Spa
We are visiting the inlaws in Phoenix this May and will need a day to get away. We were thinking af doing an all or half day spa. Is there one in particular that has a day of pampering we shouldnt miss?

I like the spa at the Phoenician. I'm not sure if going to the spa will also get you into the resort area for the day but if so, you'd have a lovely day(nice shops too and the grounds are just beautiful to walk through, there is a cactus garden, etc, maybe have a health drink or a drink drink by the main pool.) They treat you well. I don't know the packages available, I have just gotten massages and melted back to the room. They have a mneditation room at the spa, but otherwise it is not new age style like the ones in Sedona that I've been to.

I loved the spa at The Boulders when I went a couple of years ago. Great treatments and amenities including a restaurant and outdoor adult only swimming pool. I'd love to hear about more recent visits. I'm hoping to go back later this year.

I just recently went to the Westin Kierland and the spa was fabulous...a little pricey but I just loved it. They had a great steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation room.
They have this type of massage called a Tui-Na (sp?) and it was by far the best massage I've ever and and I didn't feel achey the day after either. |
I've been to the spa at the Marriott Camelback Inn, AZ Biltmore and the Phoenician and my favorite by far was the Marriott Camelback. And that was before they underwent an $8 million renovation. A friend recently went to the Westin at Kierland and raved about it too.
