Try accessarizona.com
This site should link you up to lots of info.
Depending on your tastes Phx. has lots to offer. From Desert tours, relatively easy in city mountain hikes, to Major league baseball, basketball and hockey,to Scottsdale galleries, Downtown Tempe with it's studnt night scene, and Downtown Phoenix with theater, museums etc. May is great; hot in the sun during the day; but great mornings and evenings. enjoy your stay and check out that web site.

Phoenix has probably the best municipal parks of any city in the US; just about any of them are worth a walk around. Make a visit to the South Mountain Park to view the city as the sun goes down. Drive on Hiway 88 to Globe *IF* there has been no rain for a day or so.
