I am looking for a good sports bar/restaurant in Philadelphia, near 1776 Ben Franklin PKWY, to watch the KU / South Florida football game on ESPN Friday Night. Good food, reasonable drink prices, and a fun atmosphere are preferred, even if we have to taxi a bit to get there.

Probably a place that has plenty of TV's since the Phillies play that night also......

and I have absolutely no idea if the prices are reasonable, but the location is close and the TV screens are abundant.

thanks paulrabe. there is a fox and ho0und in KC that i have been to many times. this will be a good fall back if we are unable to find something else

Chickie's & Pete's is a Philadelphia sports bar institution. I can't imagine what issues your girlfriend would have with it.
