Philly airport/foodcourt question

I am meeting up with friends at PHL (I am flying in, and we are all catching SEPTA) and I'd like to prearrange a meeting spot - just in case my flight is late. Is the main foodcourt near b/c terminal inside or outside security?

If it is inside security, is there a place folks could wait on me, grab a snack and chill?

There isn't really anything outside of security at terminals b/c (or any terminal in Philly). Best bet may be to walk over to Lamberti's just outside of security at terminal D.

The food court is inside security, and a comfortable, convenient place to connect.

If you need to be outside security, you could walk across to the Marriott's restaurant.

Many thanks - my friends are coming in on the train and will not go through security. I appreciate the options and will take advantage of them!

The Marriott is a great spot because it is attached to the airport by a walkway. You need to be advised, though, that the restaurant there charges a meeting fee if folks don't eat...It shouldn't be a problem if they are having a snack.
