Philly 10/29-11/02, what's going on?
 

Hi all,<BR><BR>Heading back to Philly again in 2 weeks and went to priceline to bid (hoping for the Westin again!) but have been refused all day! Also checked out some other sites and see that a lot of hotels say they are booked up that time.<BR><BR>Does anyone know of something that is going on in town that is causing this or I maybe just need to try closer to my trip date.<BR><BR>thanks

Could possibly be booked for Halloween or more likely a convention. Keep trying every day, but don't raise your bid too high just b/c nobody's accepting it right now. You should also check www.gophila.com for any deals they may have that weekend.

jjs- good advice, you think that priceline will sometimes reject a bid one day and accept the same or lower a different day? I never thought of that.<BR>Will try again in a few. I have a feeling it's some bizarre convention too!<BR><BR>orgy7 I actually use whats on when quite a bit. But it doesn't tell about business type of events which sometimes overrun a city.
