Philadelphia visit
I just returned from an overnight trip to Philly and wanted to relay some good places to eat. First of all, its a great city. We were at UPenn hospital and took a cab down to Rittenhouse Square the first night. We ate at this great little bistro on S 21st called 'Friday Saturday Sunday.' I highly recommend it.
For lunch the next day we went to Rouge which was right on Rittenhouse Square. It was pretty pricey but I had the best burger and glass of pinot gricio. Cheers! |
Thank you jodi!
We are going to Philadelphis this weekend, and I still can't decide where to eat! We will be staying in that neighborhood:) so I will see about reservations at your bistro. |
Jodi:) I just made reservations for Saturday night! What did you eat LOL~ |
Fri/Sat/Sun is a longtime standby. How much research did you do, and what others did you consider? Phila. is full of great places to dine.

Hi Scarlett....
I'm glad you're going there. It was a nice treat. Small with little white lights on the inside. I had tilapia which was soooo good. They have great desserts and wine too. Their web site is: http://www.frisatsun.com and the list a menu there. I'd go see some of the other bars on rittenhouse if nothing for just a drink. Rouge was great for a burger and people watching but it was $$. Enjoy! Jodi |
Hi
We had dinner at Fri/Sat/Sun this past Friday night. It was excellent. I did like the little lights also:) We had a great meal, loved the Apple bread pudding for dessert..I am a shameless sweets person. It was a perfect first night in Philadelphia. Thanks for the recommendation. We ate at Fork , Saturday night, lunch at the Continental and the Plow and Stars. I have to go back, there are soooo many good places to eat! |
