Philadelphia To Sarasota
 

Hi All! My family will be traveling to Sarasota in a few weeks and was wondering the best route. I am not the best at directions lol. I am thinking of taking 81 to 77 which then goes through Columbia SC and then turns into 26. It seems a much shorter route than 95. Does everyone prefer 77 over 95 when going to the Gulf Coast? I have a toddler so I am trying to limit the length of the trip as much as possible. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Yes that is the route that I used to take going from Melbourne FL to central PA. It has much less traffic than I-95 and avoids the hassle of the Washington Beltway and Baltimore.
