Philadelphia Luxury Hotel

Hello, My husband and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary in Philadelphia. I actually lived there for a couple of years, so I'm not looking for advice on location...I'm actually looking for advice on which luxury hotel to stay at: Ritz or Four Seasons. The prices are very similar for the weekend we are going. Anyone have experience with either or both of these hotels? We want a beautiful room, great service...Any opinions on either of these hotels would be greatly appreciated.

I stayed at both within the year and prefer the Four Seasons. It has one of the top restaurants in Philly and I prefer the location over the Ritz.

You may also want to consider The Rittenhouse. I have not stayed there but I believe it is considered a luxury hotel.

I've also stayed in both and prefer the Four Seasons. I think the Ritz Carlton has some contruction going on....could be noisy, but maybe not.

I have stayed at the Four Seasons quite a few times including a recent trip in November. I love it. If you are there on the weekend there should be a live music combo in the bar for dancing.

I love the Rittenhouse. I once had a client who put me up there, and I was so sorry the project ended!

My marble bath was about as big as my bedroom at home, and it is a good neighborhood with shopping and the Square itself right out the door. Staff were outstanding, and the food was excellent.
