PHILADELHPHIA GTG: Can you join us?!
 

Hi all. MomDDTravel will be in Philadelphia with her daughter in Oct., and we thought this would be a great opportunity to organize what (I believe) would be the first Philadelphila fodors get-together.

The date that works best for Dawn is Tues., Oct. 14 at dinnertime.

I have no idea where we should meet - I'm open for any suggestions. (Except I vote no to Pat's or Geno's :) )

MomDD is staying in center city, so somewhere around there would probably be best.

Any suggestions?

karens - I have been hoping y'all would someday do a Philly gtg. I have a conference in Atlantic City starting the 14th. I don't know when I'll go up or if I can get over to the city. (I will be in the city the 19th of Sept, bringing DS back to Drexel)

Possible meeting spots: Chinatown, the lounge at the Four Seasons...

Indeed, I think this is the first time anyone suggested a Philly GTG. You might post this also in the Lounge. ((*))

I'll be away that week, but wanted to welcome MomDD (and her DD) to Philadelphia and suggest that y'all leave room to go to Naked Chocolate Cafe for dessert!

Imperial Inn is nice for a group; you can get the Imperial Feast and share around. (And you can sub to get the Walnut Shrimp, oh yeah!)

Amy - I thought of you when I posted this. Naked Chocolate Co. is an excellent suggestion - I really like their hot chocolate.

Maybe we can eat near Rittenhouse Square and take a walk to Naked Chocolate for dessert? (Capogiro gelato would make another great dessert option....)
