Last time I went by myself maybe 5 years ago. This year I hope to make it. Ronda, if you're in San Francisco, let me know, stop at my house, we'll open a non-Sonoma bottle ;) and I'll show you my old photos of the parade.

It's an interesting parade where people are mostly dressed in costumes, after the parade there is "cutest little chicken" contest, and the next day is an antique fair. Somewhere in between there is an old vehicle parade tossed in.

This year, due to economy, maybe they've downsized?

There are a couple of hotels/motels close to the parade, but they require a 2-night stay that I don't want to do.
