Oh I am so sorry and so sad for you. I sometimes see people at the airports getting ready to pass their animals through to baggage and I have always wondered. I think more make it OK than don't, but it's a risky business I think. I am glad you posted this as a warning to others to take as much caution as possible when traveling with pets.

I am so sorry for your loss. We have four dogs now. We have had two pass while married not under the best circumstances, but I cannot imagine what you have gone through.

Our dogs are our 'babies', we have no children. I am even closer to the ones I have now, I don't know what I will do when they pass, especially my Kiaya.

My heart really goes out to you.

How heartbreaking for you. Do you mind telling us which airports you went through?

My neighbor had this happen DFW-SFO, but it was a different airline, and it turned out the pet choked on his rawhide chewy. So sad.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
I know there is nothing to bring him back but I do hope you get answers -- and some sort of compensation.
