Pensicola trip weather advice needed for next week

Can someone please tell me how the weather has been this week in Pensicola? We are driving 14 hours to have our anniversary at the beach in pensicola and it's our first time there. We are planning to drive Wednesday evening and enjoy Thursday thru Sunday laying out and enjoying the quiet together. We have been noticing that the weather forecast for our trip is mostly 60% chance of rain and we are getting a bit nervous that our vacation will be a wash out. If it rains once or twice for a little while we are fine but just don't want to be stuck inside every day. Thank you for any and all suggestions!!!

It will likely rain every day (it's that time of year, after all), but not all day - most storms crank up in the afternoon.

Get out on the beach early, it's better then, anyway. You can probably go out again later once it blows over, nothing like an evening walk on the beach, too.

Afternoon storms are normal at beach locations.

Thank you all so much for your response! I am really hoping it is a a hit or miss with the rain we don't mind a thunderstorm or 2 just as long as there are some sun rays to enjoy
