Pensacola lodging help
Plan to visit Pensacola in mid-July. Flying into Pensacola airport. 1 adult, 2 kids ages 11 and 5. Want to be at beach (across the street or within walking distance). Don't want to pay more than $100 a night. Would prefer a cottage or condo. Kids love pool so that would be a must. Any suggestions? Also how busy/crowded is Pensacola Beach in July? Thanks in advance for your help!

It's not exactly a cottage or a condo, but the Springhill Suites on Pensacola Beach were very, very nice.
It's going to be a little difficult finding something in your price range that time of year. |
The Blue Angels beach show will be July 21. If you're planning on being on P. Beach around that time, you better make reservations immediately. June and July are considered the high season. I'm afraid you'll have a hard time finding anything for $100 a night. You might try vrbo.com for a condo.

Sandy,
egret and Austin are absolutely correct. That is the height of our season and prices reflect that. Also, re: Blue Angels weekend. A lot of places are already fully booked, or close to it. Some people make their reservations for the following year as they are checking out. You might want to check with the Pensacola Beach Visitor Center. They try to keep a tally on what is available. Good luck. Fran |
Wow. Had no idea how popular Pensacola is. Thanks for your help!
