Pearl Harbor Tours?
 

We are going to Ohau for the first time in May. What kind of weather can we expect? Also, I have noticed that you have to get to Pearl Harbor early in order to get a ticket. If you take one of the tours, do you also have to stand in line and are you guaranteed a ticket? Which tour do you recommend?

We visited Pearl Harbor last month ... easy 20-25 minute drive from Waikiki. Arrived at 9:30 am and got ticket for 10:00 am tour. No bags ... camera bags, purses, etc. are allowed.

We just went to the USS Arizona memorial on September 10 and we got there at about 10:00am. We got to go to the memorial at 11:30, but the wait wasn't too bad as there was plenty to look at. We noticed that by the time we got back, there were MUCH fewer people waiting. So, I'd recommend going around noon. It seems everyone listens to the tourbooks and gets there early, so there's not much of a crowd later on.

What is the latest time you can arrive to get tickets?

I hate to disagree w/ hkite but I was there on a day when tickets for the day were gone by approx. 11:00. I've been several times and would suggest you get there before 10:00.
