Cleveland weekend trip

My wife and I are going to Cleveland for a weekend with three other couples. I'm looking for a couple of good restauarnts. I'd like one of the recommendations to be in the Little Italy in Cleveland - looking for a good Italian restaurant.

We just went to Trattoria Saturday night. I think they have the best food but not the best ambiance. The other one I like is this: http://www.nidoitalia.com/

I also think you should eat at Blue Pointe Grill or Pier W (in Lakewood, very close to downtown). They both are top rated, and my favorite. Love the views at Pier W.

The other place you should eat at is Michael Symon's Lola on East 4th Street (great pedestrian street for restaurants): http://www.lolabistro.com/

All will require reservations

Forgot Trattoria: http://www.trattoriaromangarden.com/
I'm not sure any of the restaurants have the best ambiance inside in Little Italy, the ambiance is outside! Some offer outside seating like Trattoria.

Pier W We have been 3 times and while the food has been good, we go for the view! It's over the water with Cleveland in the background

The food is more than good, it's excellent and is consistently rated by opentable and Cleveland Magazine as the top restaurant!

ps. Besides the Little Italy restaurants these are the most expensive restaurants in Cleveland. You didn't mention a price point though.

And finally we go to Pier W every year for our anniversary, but in April we realized they have a great lunch at a lower cost. The plus of that was that we can go when it's not crowded and we got the best table in the place, right at the windows. Otherwise you cannot request the best tables, its first come or if you are lucky. BUT I think lunch is only M-F
