Parking in Dupon Circle

My family will be staying in Radisson Barcello in Dupon Circle. Parking there is $23 per day. Does anybody know cheaper places to park in that area.
Thanks.

there are a few garages for commuters that charge about $8/day if you're in by 9am, but you have to be out by 10pm, 3am on the weekends. at that time, it's tough to find street parking.

Street parking in the Dupont Circle area is tough to nonexistent. The only time I have had no trouble is on early Sunday morning. The parking problem does affect what time I go there--and how.

It might be cheaper for you to park in an outlying garage and take Metro or a cab to the hotel. You will not need your car in Washington, DC, unless you plan a trek out to Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon is accessible by public transportation, by the way. It's just easier with a car.

There's a garage at 1227 20th street (about 3 blocks from your hotel) cost $11 per 24 hours. Here's their info: http://www.pmi-parking.net/garagedetail.cfm?GarageID=365&RegionID=1

DuPont Circle is a good place to park b/c it is close to the Metro and central to roads. The rates depend upon the time of day. Get there early for cheaper rates.
