parking in Boston

I need parking in the Aquarium area of Boston on Memorial Day weekend, Sat to Sun. Any suggestions? Open lot or garage OK. thanks.

The Aquarium Garage itself is one of the most expensive garages in Boston. It seems cynically designed to exploit parents desperate after a couple of hours confined in a car full of kids whining "Are we almost there yet?"

A few blocks away is the garage at Post Office Square, quite reasonable, even cheap, on weekends and holidays since it is in the financial district. It is at most a seven minute walk and can be found with a Google map.

On the way to the Post Office parking garage you might find on street parking in the Financial District. Keep your eyes open and bring quarters. Have fun.

Totally agree - head for the financial district/Post Office square, where you can park for the entire weekend for less than a few hours elsewhere.

Boston parking report: thanks for the suggested weekend parking in the financial district. I found parking for $9 per day...easy walk to the hotel and the Aquarium. It was great!! Amie
