Parking car on the street in Waikiki

How safe is it to leave your car parked outside overnight?? Thanks!

It is safe if you can find a place on the street. If you do find a parking spot, read the signs carefully. They are quick to tow cars illegally parked.

Better to just pay the $10 - $18 through the hotel.

As far as I know, there's not a lot of street parking allowed in Waikiki.

As Dusty said, it is safe enough IF you can find a spot in the first place. Street parking in Waikiki is very, very, very tight and you have to be pretty lucky to find it. If you do find it, the chances of it being close to where you need to go is slim.

And yes, read the signs carefully about what times you are allowed to park there. They will tow quickly.

Safe enough but good luck finding a spot! And as with anywhere don't leave anything visible in the car (backpacks, etc.)
