Parking at hotels

How much is the going rate to park at a Cleveland Hotel? Are you charged every time you exit?

s Feb 22nd, 2002 01:14 PM

depends on the hotel, Dave. Where in Cleveland, how nice it is, etc. are all factors. Why not just call the hotel for ACCURATE information.

Dave,

Generally, if you are at any of the downtown hotels, it can be $18-22 per day (plus $2 for valet in some cases) with in/out privileges in some cases. If you are coming for a weekend, you should be able to find a package that will include parking. If you are outside of downtown, parking in many hotels frequented by businss travellers (Chagrin Blvd., Rockside Rd.) is free. Hope you enjoy seeing the city.

Thanks Andy for the info. Wanted to make bid on priceline and needed to figure this extra in.

Dave, Here's the list of downtown hotels that have been reported as coming up on Priceline (listed in the Ohio Hotels list on http://www.BiddingForTravel.com:

4 Star: Renaissance Cleveland

3 Star: Sheraton Cleveland City Center and Wyndham Cleveland

2.5 Star: Residence Inn

There's no guarantee that you'll get these specific hotels if you bid on a downtown hotel (since Priceline's inventory changes constantly). But if you know the star-level you'll be bidding on, maybe calling the hotel(s) listed above at the same star-level would give you a ballpark figure.

Hope this helps...
