Parking at EWR

Any suggestions for 3 weeks of parking at the Newark airport? We have been happy with Kinney and Ampco in Phila. but didn't see either listed for EWR. Looking for price but under roof would be nice since we might return to snow or ice. Kinney shoveled us out during a blizzard a coulple of years ago but can't count on the help. Thanks , Suzy

We park at the Airport Hilton at Newark, and returned twice from vacation and were glad we didn't have to dig out from the snow.

Their under roof rate was $12 per day, but I believe they may have gone up to $15.

For 3 weeks, it may be cheaper to take a limo to/from the airport. Another option would be to take a one-way rental car in both directions. Even with dropoff charges, it would probably be cheaper. ((b))

I am wondering if you have considered taking the train?

I live halfway between Newark & Phil airports and fly out of both. We recently tried the new train connection to Newark Airport and found it to be super fast and convenient. The monorail takes you right into your terminal.

You would just have to have someone (or taxi?) drop you at the nearest train station, heading towards NY.

Compared to parking for 3 weeks it is a bargain and very convenient.

good luck!

Look up Avistar. They have two locations near Newark Airport. They also have coupons for $8.95 per day. We have parked there and were quite pleased.

I've used Avistar several times, no complaints.

For 3 weeks, I'd do the train. We used it once, when our ride back from EWR had an emergency and couldn't make it. So we took the train to Trenton, then got a ride from there. Just avoid it during rush hour, as lugging bags on a crowded train isn't fun.

I would also vote for the train!
