Park City Marriott or Summit Watch
 

Mountainside is not available. We currently have reservations at Park City Marriott but I see Summit Watch also has availability (will be using points). Skiing at Deer Valley. Summit Watch just looks like it is right in town and closer to skiing. Park City M. is 5 m. down the road. Any preferences? Thanks for your help.

Definitely the Summit Watch. The Park City Marriott is an older property in a very densely developed, more commercial area of Park City which is called Prospector Square. Least desirable area, not very near any of the ski resorts.

It was long ago (Sept. 2001) but the Park City Marriott was filthy, especially the pool area.

We are back. Stayed at Summit Watch. It actually was the closest to Deer Valley. Park City Marriott is in the new part of town and about 5 miles away. Marriott Mountainside is by Park City.

We were about 2 minutes from Deer Valley and in the first parking row every morning.

If you stay at Summit Watch, ask for a room that does not face Deer Valley Road, and on an upper floor. We couldn't hear any noises from people of either side of us, but could hear people upstairs and while the double pane windows cut down on the traffic noise, it just wasn't a very good view.
