Paradise Cove Luau - a must do???

First visit to Hawaii and considering the luau at Paradise Cove for $75. Is it that awesome? Is it a must do?

It's enjoyable. I wouldn't say it is awesome. A luau is something you should do at least one in your life. $75 is high though.

We went to Germaines Luau and it was fun. The food was not very good but our 13 yr. old daughter loved it. Don't ever pay regular price for a Luau. We bought an entertainement book and got 25% off. I think I paid around $100 for the 3 of us. There are lots of coupons and discounts. I wouldn't consider it a "must do" but it might be to some.

I really didn't enjoy the Paradise Cove Luau. Not that it was bad, but just too many people on huge tables. Compared to a luau on Maui with about 18 or 20 small round tables on the grass these big Oahu luau don't compare.

Like islandmom said---do it once and since its your first trip. But I would not pay any more than the $42 we paid for Germaine's !!
