Palm Springs/Palm Desert
 

Would like to travel to Palm Springs/Palm Desert with small child (2 y.o.). Need a recommendation for condos or villas with a pool that's good for children and near fun things to do. Also, need place with access to good golf courses. I've never been to this area so would appreciate some suggestions.

99% of the places in palm spring have pools. not much to entertain a two year old other then the pool. maybe a walk around the living desert. there is a tram ride up the mountain. also, depending when you go it could be uncomfortably hot for she/he. there are golf courses all over the place. are you aware how expensive they are? how are you going to golf with a 2 yr old? don't mean to be negative, just want you to be prepared. i love palm springs.

The Living Desert is a good choice for an afternoon with a toddler. The Children's Discovery Museum is popular activity for young kids.

First choice--the Westin. Also great--both Marriotts. We have been taking our kids since they were babies and always have a great time.

There's are rental condos at the Oasis waterpark which cater to families.
